Letter from the Director-October 2023

Boy it’s almost halfway through the month and I am just getting to writing my update. We have a lot of people to thank for all of their generosity. The Muskego Woman’s Club held a food drive for us on Saturday, September 30th. They collected 3 U boats full of food and cash. This will keep our volunteers busy for quite a while. Thank you for your time and effort and the generosity of the community. Bay Lane grade school also held a food drive and donated a ton of food to us. Mill Valley Elementary School planted a garden in spring. Their harvest throughout the summer and fall netted 490 pounds of fresh produce for our families. Our busy holiday season is upon us. We will be getting some turkeys from Feeding America but will have room and need, if you wish to donate a small turkey. Please remember us when you are grocery shopping. Every item is needed and used.

Again, thanks for all of the support of the Muskego community. We wouldn’t be doing as well as we are without your support.

Julie
