Letter from the Director-November 2023

It is a cool and crisp morning; however, better than Tuesday (Halloween) which gave us freezing temps and over 2 inches of snow. We are entering the expensive heating season where our families need to spend their grocery money on heating bills. We already have numerous churches and businesses asking for barrels to fill with holiday food drives. We will be receiving turkeys from Feeding America again this year. Hopefully what is donated will take care of our families without purchasing too many. Our volunteers are very busy with picking up donations and delivering food to our homebound clients. If you are in need of help this holiday season, please contact our pantry.

As always, many thanks to everyone in the community who supports the cause of keeping everyone fed. We wouldn’t be able to help so many without you.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Julie
