Letter from the Director- August 2025

Sorry I’m so late but it has been extremely busy at the pantry. Or I have a senior mind and I forgot. We are picking up a ton of food from our corporate donors. We share the wealth with other food pantries in the area, Repairers of the Breach, Scott Community Center, Friedens Food pantry and others. The only food that we give to the animals is anything that is not fit for human consumption. Please keep in mind that anything that is donated goes to feed needy people throughout south eastern Wisconsin. School is almost back in session and some things will start winding down; however, with that being said there may be some changes to the SNAP program that may have our numbers increasing. We are so very thankful to our community gardeners who donate fresh produce every week. Mill Valley’s produce is coming in as well as the produce from the Library’s garden. As always please keep us in mind when you do your grocery shopping. Every bit helps. We have also updated the signage on our barrels at Pick-n-Save to show that all of the donations come to the Muskego Food Pantry.

Thanks for your generosity!

Julie
