It’s going to be another hot one today. It always seems to be in the 90s or raining on days we need to be outside. School is right around the corner. We’ll be picking up our back packs from the Backpack Coalition next week. We should be able to outfit most of our families with school supplies. Fresh produce from our community gardens is starting to come in. Mill Valley grade school has been donating for almost a month now from the school’s garden. Many thanks to the students and their families who planted, weeded, watered, and are now harvesting the garden. Girl Scout day camp is in progress. Sun Lakes Service Unit (Muskego & surrounding communities) has dropped off food every day this week. So far with 3 days dropped off they have donated over 800 items. A BIG thanks for them helping us get through the summer slump. Our library is having a fund raiser for us in August. Stop in at the Library and find out more about it.
Thanks to all of our volunteers who all work tirelessly keeping the pantry up and running. Thanks to the community for all of your generosity in your donations.
