Let me start by saying a big thank you to the MHS Gridiron club who sponsored a food drive for us last month. They collected 36 barrels which equates to 4 pallets of food. Thanks to everyone who helped and everyone who donated. Thanks Jeff and Melanie who did all of the heavy lifting. I also have to thank all of the community gardeners who have been donating fresh produce every week. It has been amazing, the variety and freshness. Our people really enjoy it. I also have to thank our volunteers who have worked tirelessly during some of the hottest days this summer. Pretty much all of us are seniors who love doing what we do. Please keep the donation barrels full. It keeps us from purchasing some groceries. Thanks again for all of your generosity! We wouldn’t be able to help so many without your help.
