It’s hard to believe that summer is waning down. We are starting to pack back packs for our kids who are going back to school. We have to thank the Back pack coalition who for years have provided us with quite a few filled back packs. We also need to thank the people in the community who have donated a ton of school supplies by bringing them in or ordering through Amazon to supplement our supplies and back packs. By the time I write to you next month, school will be well underway and we’ll be looking for school lunch supplies. A big thank you to all of the community gardeners who have been dropping off their fresh produce. Our families really love it. There are some food drives coming up in the near future. Muskego HS football is having a drive for us on Friday, August 21, 2026. Please bring canned goods to the football game. On September 27, 2026, Matty’s Bar & grille is having a fund raiser and raffle for the Muskego Food Pantry and other non-profits in the area. Come and support the cause. As always, thanks to everyone who drops in the barrels and sends checks to keep us up and running. Your generosity is appreciated.
