This Thursday morning finds everyone busy doing their designated jobs. We have Jeanie sorting bread for Patti who is out this week. We have Shirley packing bakery from National Baking Company. Donna is packing up an order that is being delivered to one of our clients. Joe & Gene are just returning from their pick ups at Costo and Aldi and will be delivering to our client. Jeff is just getting back from Starbucks and Kwik Trip. Tim is finished with setting up all of our tables for bakery and perishable items this afternoon. Paul just came back from Pick n Save. David is breaking down cardboard and stocking our fridge with purchased milk. Wendy is making sure everything goes smoothly. We have quite a few volunteers on vacation so a lot of my people are doing double duty. I’m clueing you in to our inner workings so you can see how well we work together. This food pantry would not be the premier pantry that we are without our dedicated volunteers. We also wouldn’t be the premier pantry without everyone in our community who supports us with donations of groceries and money. The Woman’s Club is holding their food drive in the next couple of weeks. Please help them out on Saturday, October 18th at either
Pick n Save or Piggly Wiggly. We really appreciate everyone’s hard work for this food drive. As always we wouldn’t be able to help so many without the help of the community. Your commitment is appreciated!
