Letter from the Director-February

This morning finds us waiting to determine if we will be open all day or not. A large snow storm is coming. We’ll keep you posted. Following this storm is bone chilling cold. This weather makes it very challenging for the food pantry to function during these COVID 19 times when no one comes in to our building. We appreciate our patrons being patient with us because it is not always an easy process. Many thanks to the people of the community who have stepped up with food drives and donations to keep our shelves stocked. I would like to thank the Stark family who again held “Lights on Glen Cove.” Even during this pandemic people came out and donated food and money for a good cause.

Please keep us in mind while grocery shopping and drop a little something in our barrel.
