Boy, today is starting out to be a hot one. Mid 90s today and the rest of the week. We will probably be having our perishables inside tomorrow so no one keels over from heat exhaustion. I have to start my letter by saying a big thank you to the Muskego Woman’s Club and our community who had a very successful food drive for us. Besides donating the food, this keeps our youth volunteers busy with sorting, date checking, and stocking the donated food. We have college students volunteering this summer who need hours to add to their credits to graduate. We have high school students who are looking to keep busy this summer. Produce is starting to come in from the community gardeners who plant extra to donate to us. Thanks in advance to everyone who has planted for us. Thanks to Holtz gardens who donated their extra tomato and vegetable plants to us to give to our families. There is nothing like fresh home grown produce. Our numbers keep increasing. Please keep us in mind when you do your grocery shopping. All of the donations are appreciated.
Keep cool this summer!
Julie
