Letter from the Director – May 2026

Whew…Easter is over. We gave out a ton of hams primarily donated from Walmart and individual families. We had over 100 Easter baskets that we gave to our family’s children and some went to the inter-city for children that we help support. Everyone had a wonderful holiday. We are gearing up for the busy summer months. We just received 3 pallets of potatoes from Costco. On Thursday we received 100 bags of vedalia onions from the Damascus Masons Lodge. This is their annual donation and our families love them. We are already gearing up for back to school signing up our families’ children for back packs. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day today. It is about time. We love having our perishable items, produce, and bakery outside for our families to choose themselves. As always thanks so much for all of the donations from the community. We are a premier pantry with your help.
