April 2026-Letter from the Director

I’m a little early again because I was in the website and decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. It’s Opening Day and we’re going to have a little tailgate party at the pantry. Everyone is wearing their Brewer’s gear. It is pretty busy this morning deciding if we do everything outside today and will the rain hold off. Our guys are busy delivering to a couple of our patrons who cannot come out to get their food. They’ve already been to Costco, Pick n Save, Little Caeser’s and Aldi. Thursday mornings at the pantry are very busy. We have a couple of personal donations and people asking what our needs are because they want to shop. We are doing pretty good with our non-perishable goods but are in need of hygiene items such as shampoo, conditioner, feminine products. We appreciate everyone in the community trying to fill our needs. It is Easter time and we are providing hams to our families and Easter Baskets to the families with children. Assembled by members of Bethel Lutheran Church and the volunteers of the pantry. We appreciate the help and generosity of the whole community.
