Letter from the Director-May 2025

Look at me! It is 8:23 on May 1st and I am writing my letter. Shirley is gone so I am in early. It is nice and quiet. Our pantry has had record numbers lately. A couple of new families every week and people coming back to use the pantry who have not been here in over 2 years. We are still in pretty good shape for serving our families. Our corporate donations have decreased a little. It looks like a lot of our businesses who donate to us have less to donate. We are expecting the Shriners to come by today with 100 bags of Vidalia onions. This is an annual donation and all of our families love them. Please don’t forget us when you are planting your garden this month. The pantry loves receiving fresh produce harvested by community gardens. I have to thank everyone who supports us both monetarily and with non-perishable and perishable foods. We wouldn’t be able to help so many without your support.

Thanks for your generosity!

Julie
