The new year dawns very cool and crisp. Our holidays at the pantry were very busy. We gave out over 70 hams to our families. The community provided Christmas gifts to some of our younger members. I just finished figuring our numbers for 2024. We serviced 2685 families. That is close to a 10% increase from last year. Hopefully, in 2025 the economy will get a little better and some of our families may not need us. Our community really stepped up during the holidays to make a very nice Christmas for our families. We had corporate sponsors, churches, and individual community members who helped keep our shelves stocked. As I have said many times before, we wouldn’t be able to help so many without the commitment of our volunteers and the community. We will be celebrating 16 years in existence this year on April 9th. I think I can safely say that we have come along way and helped tons of families with good healthy food. Again, please keep us in mind when you go grocery shopping and purchase a little something to put in our barrels. Thanks for your generosity.
