Letter from the Director-January 2022

Happy New Year. I hope 2022 treats everyone better than 2021 did. It is a brisk 5 degrees this morning. We are winding down from the busy holiday season. We are still in the process of date checking and stocking all of the donations received during the holidays. A big thank you to everyone who had food drives and made monetary donations to us. “Lights on Glen Cove” this year surpassed prior years donations. Thanks to everyone who participated, your generosity is appreciated. Check out our Facebook page. We have a Thankful Thursday post to highlight groups and people who donate throughout the year. This new strain of COVID is a challenge for us. Along with the cold winter weather we may have to look at different ways to help our families.

As always, please keep us in mind when doing your weekly grocery shopping. Your generosity keeps our shelves stocked.

Thanks again, Julie
