It’s the first week in August, summer is winding down; however, with it being in the 90s again next week it sure doesn’t look like it. The fresh summer produce is coming in from our community gardeners hot and heavy and we love it. Girl Scout Sun Lakes service unit has day camp running this week and is collecting food for us at their bus stop. They have been very generous.

We are getting backpacks next week to help out our families. They can be picked up starting Thursday, August 12, 2021.

As always a big thanks to everyone in the community who donates monetarily, food, and their time to the pantry. We wouldn’t be able to keep going without you.
