Spring has sprung. You wouldn’t know it by the snow and sleet that is expected today. I have to start by thanking everyone who helped make the Easter holiday enjoyable for our families. First the members of Bethel Lutheran Church, who for the last 15 years have provided us with filled Easter baskets for the children at the pantry. They assembled 77 baskets this year. Thanks so much for your hard work and generosity. Second, I’d like to thank all of the people in the community who donated hams. We had more than enough hams for our families and we were also able to share some with an inner-city youth center that we support. You all helped make this a special Easter for those in need. Thanks to Muskego Woman’s Club who spearheaded numerous collections of items that we were in need of. Pack 118 at
St. Leonard’s participated in “Scouting for Food” in March. They collected throughout the community and received quite a bit of food. Our shelves stay stocked by the generosity of our neighbors. We wouldn’t be able to serve so many without your help. As always please keep us in mind when you are grocery shopping, every little bit helps.
