April showers bring May flowers. It has been nothing but gloomy weather so far in April. It makes for a soggy Thursday outside picking out bread and perishables for our families. Just waiting for some lovely spring-like weather.
We are starting our Easter process today. We have a ton of hams that have already been donated that will start being distributed today. We also have Easter baskets again this year that were filled and donated by Bethel Lutheran Church. This will be done this week and next so everyone has everything they need for a Happy Easter.
We thank the Muskego area boy scouts who had “Scouting for Food” a few weeks ago and donated quite a bit of food donated by our neighbors. We always thank the students of St. Joseph’s Catholic school in Big Bend whose classes continually have food drives for us.
Many thanks again to all of our community partners who think of us when they shop and drop things in our barrels. Every little bit helps.
